David Henry Hamilton

David Henry D.H. Hamilton was a Texas farmer and husband to Mary Isabell Gaston. Later after marriage Mr. Hamilton became a military officer for the Texas Brigade Company M First Texas Volunteer Infantry at the age of 18. After his surrender at the Appomattox Court House during the American Civil War he returned home to Sumpter, Texas May 25, 1865 without injury, and later lived in Centralia in Trinity County, Texas.
